The odd one
I have come to terms with my family being as awkward as it is. Unfortunately awkward does not set you up well for military life. my co-workers are making that very clear. got locked in a closet. that hasnt happened since elementary school. yay army.
real love is always chaotic. you lose controll; you lose perspective. you lose the ability to protect yourself. the greater the love the greater the chaos. it;s a given and thats the secret.

As more time passed it seems like my pay checks are getting smaller and like i have even less time here than I thought. Then I remember that I’m in the military and that its probably all true. I listen to the stories of every one that came back from deployment and i must say, they get horrific. People that cant sleep. people that still see dead men’s faces. People that don’t seem to have any issues at all.
Right now all I know is that my clock is ticking and soon Ill be on my flight to do my duty. I’ll be leaving my little apartment and my dog. I guess there isn’t much I can do but type and try not to think about the time left.
